Who Do I Call If I Have Questions
About My Treatment?
The Big Horn Basin Radiation Oncology Center will be a resource to you whenever it is within our power
to provide you with the information you are seeking. We realize that having information is
one of the chief means for cancer patients and their families to effectively manage cancer
and its treatment.
For questions relating to your treatment here, please ask the radiation oncologist
(radiation therapy doctor) OR the nurse OR one of the radiation therapists (the
professionals who "walk you through" treatment each day).
What should you do if you want more discussion with the Radiation Oncology Center doctor or
the professional staff?
Speak up. Just as in any other area of life, you need to ask for what you need. It is very
important to our entire staff that you do not feel "in the dark" about things.
Keep asking until you feel satisfied.
For questions pertaining to your cancer diagnosis or other issues not related specifically
to your radiation therapy treatments, we recommend that you consult your family physician
or medical oncologist (the doctor who referred you to the Center).
